Delivery & Returns

Please make sure that you provide us with a clear delivery address as well as an email address and telephone number when placing your order to help avoid any delays and so that we can contact you easily should we need to. If an item isn’t in stock we will let you know immediately. Due to the fact that most of the items we sell are hand-made and/or are made by small scale producers, there can occasionally be delays in supply. We hope that you will feel that the products are worth waiting for and we will let you know as soon as they are back in stock. At busy times, such as Christmas, or if the item is a gift, please bear this in mind and place your order as early as possible.

If the item is in stock we will aim to dispatch it within 48 hours.

Costs

For all orders over £75.00 (UK), £100 (Republic of Ireland and the rest of Europe), and £150 (everywhere else) shipping is FREE.   This is for normal courier service only and does not include next day delivery.  For Greeting Cards there is a flat rate of £2.50 for up to 3 cards.  In all other instances the following charges apply:-

UK delivery, including Northern Ireland costs £5.25 and takes 3 – 5 days.

Delivery to the Republic of Ireland costs £8.95 and takes 5 – 7 days.

Delivery to offshore UK and the Channel Islands costs £8.95 and takes 5 – 7 days.

Delivery to the rest of Europe costs £10.95 and takes 5 – 7 days.

Delivery to the U.S. and Canada costs £35.00 and would take 5+ days (depending on how long the items take to get through customs).

For anywhere else in the world please contact us before placing your order and we will obtain a quote for you.

Next day delivery (within UK only) costs £8.95. Please contact us before 1pm if you require next day delivery.

Delivery times refer to working days only, which are Monday to Friday inclusive.

Returns

We hope you love our products as much as we do. However if you are not entirely satisfied then you can return them to us for a refund or exchange.

We ask that you notify us by email within 7 days of receiving the goods and that you return them to us within 14 days.

The returned products must be in perfect condition and in the original packaging. Please package fragile items very carefully and as a precaution, obtain proof of postage as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit. Return postage is payable by the customer unless the item is faulty.

Should the item you have received be faulty in some way then please contact us immediately at info@small-island.co.uk or telephone 01444 657290 and we will do our very best to arrange a quick replacement.
